Which Digital Extras are available for free?
Accident Recovery and Breakdown Management – By pressing on the Mercedes-Benz button above the rear view mirror or using the phone book entry in the address book, you’ll be connected to a Customer Assistance Centre. Once connected, your vehicle data and location will be transmitted to a skilled employee on the phone, or your nearest Mercedes-Benz Authorised Repairer so that someone can help you. This is perfect if you breakdown or get in an accident and have no idea where you are.
Maintenance Management – You’ll be notified of any upcoming maintenance needs and you can book appointments through it as well. Once the Digital Extra is activated, any relevant vehicle data will be sent to your Mercedes-Benz Service partner which makes any of your service appointments as efficient and quick as possible.
Telediagnostics – Be informed in good time about when certain parts of the car need replacing, such as your brake pads. This information is automatically transmitted to your Mercedes-Benz service partner so that they’ll contact you to arrange a service.
How to activate the free Digital Extras
Step 1: You’ll need to make sure you register with the Mercedes-Benz App and activate the Digital Extras. This involves linking your vehicle to the Mercedes-Benz Portal.
