smart: Exclusive vs Premium
When purchasing a smart, the first exciting decision you will need to make is choosing the perfect model for you. Choose between the smart EQ fortwo cabrio and enjoy roof down driving, the sporty smart EQ fortwo coupe or the more spacious smart EQ forfour.
Whichever model you decide is the perfect one for you, you can be confident that each model guarantees easy charging, all-electric driving, advanced driver connectivity and an expressive design. Choosing your model requires you to then make another exciting decision on which specification you would like your smart. While many of the features of the smarts are the same across the two specifications, there are some key differences between the two.
So, what are the differences between exclusive and premium in more detail?
smart EQ premium
At first glance, you’ll notice the premium specification gives your smart a sportier look. This is due to the 16” 5-twin-spoke design alloy wheels and the H4 halogen headlamps with integrated LED daytime driving lights.
Inside the vehicle, the first thing you’ll notice is the 3-spoke multifunctioning sports steering wheel in leather and the brushed stainless steel sports pedals with rubber studs underneath. Looking at the seats you’ll notice the black fabric upholstery with double stitching in white.
smart EQ exclusive
The exclusive specification brings the style and flair to the party. The 16” 8-Y-spoke design alloy wheels with a high-sheen finish and the full-LED headlamps really make it an eye catcher. Inside the vehicle, you’ll instantly notice the ambient lighting with indirect illumination of the front doors, the front foot wells and the centre console.
The exclusive also comes equipped with an automatic dimming interior mirror and velour floor mats in black. The upholstery is different too, the most obvious difference being the black leather seats with grey double stitching.
Standard smart EQ features
Regardless of the model or specification you choose you can be confident that all smart EQ’s come equipped with a whole host of interior, exterior and safety features as standard. Some of the highlight features include but are not limited to:
