New beginnings for Mercedes-Benz Vans

It's all change for two South West dealerships this year as they welcome in new LCV-dedicated premises.
Mercedes-Benz of Taunton and Exeter are both set to expand this Spring with the opening of two additional LCV centres. This will complete our quartet of sites dedicated to van after sales - complementing the pre-existing sites in Plymouth and Truro and allowing us to roll out van roadside assistance across the whole of the South West.
Prior to this, the van servicing and repair departments in both Exeter and Taunton have been located at the main retail dealerships.
The relocation of our LCV operation is in response to increased demand in both the passenger car and van markets. Expansion into additional space will therefore allow both areas of the business to grow in line with demand and will ensure that we can continue to offer the high level of service care you deserve as a Mercedes-Benz owner.

Exeter's new LCV site is a conversion of an existing structure on the outskirts of Hill Barton Business Park. Once complete, the 9 ramp, 14,000 sq ft premises will represent a distinct growth in both space and capabilities of the LCV service offering in Exeter - we are delighted to now be able to offer class 4, 5 and 7 MOTs, for example. Also benefitting from the move is Exeter's Trade Parts function and the team will soon be able to utilise a new purpose-built three-storey facility. Together, this will free up the entire workshop at our Marsh Barton dealership for retail servicing and repair.

Our LCV network will be complete when Taunton’s new site opens its doors this Easter. Located in Crown Industrial Estate it can be found besides the driving test centre and, as the crow flies, is located directly opposite the Mercedes-Benz of Taunton showroom. A larger undertaking than it's Exeter counterpart, this site is being built from the ground, up.
