Mercedes-Benz of Taunton supports the Taunton Toads trail

Charity sculpture trails have been growing in popularity over recent years, and there have been Snowdogs, Dragons, Gorillas, and now in 2019, the Taunton Toads! Taunton will be taken-over by a knot of 22 fibre-glass toads over the summer holidays. Each one has been designed by local artists, children, businesses and charities, and one has hopped over to our Taunton dealership! Mercedes-Benz of Taunton is extremely proud to join a whole host of other local businesses supporting the trail, which is designed to celebrate and raise money for The League of Friends. The League supports Musgrove Park Hospital, and this year celebrates its 60^th Anniversary. All proceeds from the trail will go toward improvements to the Bracken Birthing Centre at the hospital. The toad sitting outside our dealership is lovingly named, "SuperToad"! She was designed and painted by Green Days Day Care, which provides outcome-based, personal-centred care for adults with learning disabilities including autism and various other conditions which can affect social, emotional, educational or work skills development. There is a map available to purchase at various local businesses, which allows locals to hunt down the toads, so you can try to visit all twenty two over the summer.
