Meet The Team: Nick Hankins

This month we headed to Mercedes-Benz of Plymouth to meet with Nick Hankins. Nick is our Group Van Service Manager. We learnt a little bit more about Nick’s journey within Mercedes-Benz South West and what his favourite animal is!

Where are you from?

Truro, Cornwall.

How long have you been working at Mercedes-Benz South West?

Nearly three years on this visit. I have previously worked for the business, so around eight years in total.

What is your favourite Mercedes-Benz model? (Old or new!)

Mercedes 300 SL gull wing.

Most memorable day at work?

Returning to MBSW and realising the growth in our Van Service department.

Favourite part of the job?

The people!

What’s your favourite animal?

I love a beaver.

Where is your favourite place to visit in the South West?

Any sandy beach that has a watering hole.

What’s your go-to song or radio station to listen to in the car?

Radio X is currently playing on the wireless.

How many attempts did it take you to pass your driving test?

Two- just like all the best drivers.

What’s your favourite film?

Any of the Rocky films.

What would be your karaoke song?

What are you most looking forward to?
