Meet the Team: Lee Howe - Service Manager

Today we're with Taunton Service Manager Lee Howe, finding out all about his favourite things and a memorable day at work involving Tony Blair!

Where are you from?

Sheffield, Yorkshire.

How long have you been working at Mercedes-Benz South West?

Three-and-a-half years.

What is your favourite Mercedes-Benz model? (Old or new!)

SLS AMG. Dramatic to look at, and dramatic to drive.

Most memorable day at work?

This would likely be back in my days at a previous automotive dealreship in East London. I was shaking hands with the then Prime Minister Tony Blair along with Sebastian Cole, after London had won the bid to host the 2012 Olympics. Our dealership was on the site of where the London Stadium was to be built, and they were visitng the area.

Favourite part of the job?

Working with a great brand and a fantastic team.

What's your favourite animal?

Dolphin.

Where is your favourite place to visit in the South West?

Lynton and Lynmouth.

What's your go-to song or radio station to listen to in the car?

Radio X

How many attempts did it take you to pass your driving test?

Two.

What's your favourite film?

Pulp Fiction. I could quote it endlessly!

What's at the top of your bucket list?

Take a year to travel the world.

What would be your karaoke song?

Suspicious Minds by Elvis Presley.

Tipple of choice?

Bourbon.

First concert you ever went to?

I got lucky with this one. I saw The Stone Roses supported by a little-known band frm Manchester called Oasis at Sheffield Arena, sometime during 1994.

What are you most looking forward to?

Getting back to the beach this summer and finally figuring out how to stay upright on my paddleboard!
