Introducing the new A-Class Saloon

Coming soon, the A-Class Saloon will add a new dimension to our growing range of compact vehicles. With its dynamic styling and perfectly balanced saloon car proportions it combines eye-catching looks with exceptional four-door comfort, convenience and efficiency.
The Saloon’s front section provides a dramatic focal point, with the expressive headlamps and distinctive radiator grille projecting a sense of energy. From the side, the short overhangs and high belt line showcase classic saloon design features while the compact rear section is distinguished by eye-catching two-part tail lights.
The A-Class is spacious too, with class-leading headroom in the rear and a 420 litre boot with a large opening for easy loading and unloading.
The A-Class Saloon also boasts a Cd value of just 0.22 — the lowest aerodynamic drag of any production vehicle, matching the world record originally set by the CLA Coupé. Thanks to this, the new A-Class Saloon offers incredible handling alongside remarkable efficiency.
Inside, the A-Class Saloon’s cabin offers the same irresistible blend of radical styling, premium quality materials and high-end technology that have made its hatchback counterpart such a success. From the striking turbine-style air vents to the innovative driver assistance systems adopted from our flagship S-Class Saloon, every element has been designed with your comfort, safety and enjoyment in mind.
Your A-Class Saloon will even get to know you with the new touch-based MBUX infotainment system, which uses artificial intelligence to learn your preferences, and features intelligent voice control with natural speech recognition. Just say the words, “Hey Mercedes, navigate to home” or “Hey Mercedes, set the temperature to 21º” and let MBUX do the rest.
Launching in October 2018, the A-Class Saloon will initially be available with a choice of two engines, the A 200 petrol and the A 180 d diesel, each offering agile performance coupled with low fuel consumption and emissions.
