Car shows and events provide the perfect opportunity to meet with like-minded motorheads and see your all favourite cars in one place. We’ve rounded up the best car events in the South West this summer, and included the biggest must-visit car events in the country.
The Celebration of Speed
July 12th | Lympstone Manor, Exmouth
Lympstone Manor will be transformed into a collection of supercars, powerboats, and motorbikes, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with each vehicle. In attendance will be former F1 World Champion and Sky Sports Pundit Damon Hill, and former F1 engineer Rob Smedley, who will be giving an insight into the world of professional motorsports.
The event will end with a Party in the Paddock, featuring Scouting for Girls, Soul II Soul, and DJ Judge Jules. Tickets for the 12-hour extravaganza begin at £40 for general admission.
Wadebridge Wheels
July 16th | Royal Cornwall Showground
Featuring around 1000 exhibits, Wadebridge Wheels is a fun day out for the entire family, organised by Wadebridge Rotary. Classics cars, motorbikes, vans, lorries, tractors, steam engines and military vehicles are joined by trade stands, food facilities, children’s play areas and entertainment. Whatever it is you’re hoping to see, Wadebridge Wheels will have it! This charity event is not one to miss. From just £8 per ticket, you get access to a whole world of a motors.
Brixham Classic Car Show
September 10th | Lupton House, Brixham
Step back in time and experience the glory days of motoring. With vintage vehicles, American muscle cars, hot rods and motorcycles, this show promises to be a memorable event. The entrance fee is by voluntary donation on the day.

F1 Grand Prix
The car event that needs no introduction: the British Grand Prix. Experience the once-in-a-lifetime thrill of Formula 1 racing in the heart of the country at Silverstone. The weekend-long festival includes entertainment from start to finish, with the launch party, qualifying races, chart-topping music, fan zone, and of course the race.
Goodwood Festival of Speed
July 13th-16th | Chichester
Finally, the ultimate Festival of Speed is not one to miss. Hailed ‘motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party,’ Goodwood celebrates the world’s most glamorous sport. Bask in the unrestricted access to the machines and the drivers who made them famous as they race up the Hillclimb track. Witness supercars and bikes, classic cars, and modern F1 machinery in this three-day celebration.
