2021: Our Achievements
2021 has been another year of ups and downs for us all. As a business we have adapted to constant change throughout 2021 in order to provide you with the best experience as a Mercedes-Benz customer. With that being said, we’ve made some incredible memories here at Mercedes-Benz South West during 2021 and have achieved some incredible things. In this post, we’ve rounded up our biggest achievements from 2021 and highlighted what we’re most proud of.
Raising Money for Charity
Every year we love raising money for local charities. Throughout 2021 we are proud to have donated thousands of pounds to over 35 different charities, and we've had some great fun doing it! Watch the video below to see our charity event this Christmas.
EQA Launch
Throwback to June which proved to be a very exciting time for the Mercedes-Benz brand as a whole with the launch of the EQA, the third vehicle to join the all-electric EQ range. By offering incredible benefits for both our planet and its drivers, more people are willing to make the switch from combustion engine cars, to electric. The EQA fit perfectly alongside the EQC and EQV, its all-electric siblings already part of the EQ range.
Introducing the EQA to our customers and community was without doubt a highlight of the year. Stylish, dynamic and ideally suited to everyday use, the compact premium SUV combines emission-free mobility with athletic performance and intuitive connectivity. Read more about the EQA.
Estover/Plymouth LCV Expansion
With the country in and out of lockdown, the need for vans drastically grew due to online retail sales increasing the demand for courier and delivery services across the region. The expansion of our Estover site, Plymouth, can now accommodate that growth as well as relieve service pressure from other sites by servicing Passenger Cars, adding only more convenience to customers in the local area.
We’re immensely proud of the team who worked so hard to firstly support our customer since the pandemic began, and secondly to successfully complete an expansion. Customer Service has always been at the forefront of what we do and is built from our slogan, ‘The Best or Nothing’. We care about helping our customers, from sharing little tips and information on the smallest matters, to helping customers purchase their next Mercedes-Benz, we’re always here to help. Adding To The Business
We're delighted to have introduced lots of new faces to the Mercedes-Benz South West family during 2021. Throughout the year we have welcomed a wide range of new skillsets to the company to cater for the continuous development of both the business and the industry.
What's better? It doesn't stop here. We'll continue to add to the business in 2022 as well, for what is going to be a very exciting year for us. We really do have some electrifying plans for 2022 which we can't wait to share with you all. Stay posted!
