In 1972, Mercedes-Benz premiered a generation of its luxury class vehicles and officially announced the name ‘S-Class’. Alongside this new launch, they also released new S-Class models, which happened to also be the first vehicles in europe to have airbags. These also came available with safety door handles, side windows with anti-soiling measures and much more.
