Now, in 2024, we have nine Mercedes-AMG SUV models, all offering different engine variants, and each coming with powerhouse engines and incredible 4MATIC all-wheel drive technology.

What is 4MATIC?

4MATIC is Mercedes-Benz’s all-wheel drive technology. Using intelligent vehicle technology, 4MATIC is able to adjust the power attribution to each of the wheels by using torque control. In doing so, the vehicle responds instantly to the road conditions, ensuring the very best drive no matter the surface. Read our guide to 4MATIC here.

Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV

The EQE SUV is currently Mercedes-AMG’s only electric model. An output of 617hp offers a 0-62mph time of 3.7 seconds, encapsulating the notorious AMG performance. If you’re thinking that the lack of V8 engine will affect the sound of acceleration, you need not worry. The AMG Sound Experience knows how important emotional sounds are for the unique driving experience of an AMG, which is why they have developed a new, powerful sound for the EQE SUV. Hallmark AMG styling distinguishes the EQE SUV from its non-AMG variants, and comes in the iconic Night Edition or Night Edition Premium Plus packages.

Mercedes-AMG GLA

Compact SUV performance has never been better. Coming in two engine variants: GLA 35 4MATIC and GLA 45 S 4MATIC+, the GLA promises a powerful output. The high-quality AMG interior, with its sporty equipment and MBUX multimedia system, intensifies the personal connection between driver and vehicle. AMG Performance Seats and many other features emphasise the racing character and promote a driver-friendly seating position with firm lateral support. SUV qualities such as everyday utility and activity are also deliberately brought into play with variable interiors.

Mercedes-AMG GLB

The Mercedes-Benz GLB is freedom made functional, with the practicality of a seven seat vehicle or extra load capacity. Designed the close the gap between the GLA and GLC models, the GLB is highly functional, with cutty-edge drive technology and exceptional off-road capabilities. Add the performance of an AMG engine into the mix, and you’ve got yourself a beast. Despite the extra weight of the GLB, it still manages 0-62mph in an impressive 5.5 seconds.

Mercedes-AMG GLC

The Mercedes-AMG GLC offers formidable power and frugal efficiency, with an immersive cockpit, enhanced AMG styling, and first-class comfort. This mid-size SUV flourishes on the rough and the smooth thanks to advanced features such as 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive and DYNAMIC SELECT. This AMG SUV is available in three packages: Premium, Night Edition Premium Plus, and Edition 1. An impressive 1020 Nm torque and 680hp gives an acceleration of 3.5 seconds from 0-62mph. Stylish, unique, and powerful, the GLC comes in two variants, Performance and E PERFORMANCE. For the first time, the AMG four-cylinder engine boosts its performance thanks to an electric turbocharger. This ensures a spontaneous response over the entire rpm range, supported, where necessary, by the boost of the starter-alternator or electric drive unit.

Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupé

The same stats as the Mercedes-AMG GLC but with a different personality, the Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupé is one of a kind. It comes in two engine variants: the GLC 43 4MATIC Coupé and the GLC 63 S E Performance Coupé. Not only does it work wonders in terms of saving space, it is also a performance artist: the Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupé impresses with its powerful and efficient engine version. The current generation of AMG 4-cylinder engines impresses with strong performance, thanks to AMG RIDE CONTROL, and AMG Performance 4MATIC and 4MATIC+, the willingness to perform and the proximity to motorsport are routinely perceptible at all times, and with AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL in the GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE this feeling can be boosted even more.

Mercedes-AMG GLE

Whether you go for the GLE 53 4MATIC+ or the GLE 63 S 4MATIC+, you’re guaranteed an exhilarating drive. Up to 630 litres of boot capacity and up to 603hp output, the GLE is both practical and sporty. Expect top performance at every moment - the Mercedes-AMG GLE gives you the choice between the newly designed in-line 6-cylinder turbo engine and the classic V8 biturbo. Equally important for driving dynamics and perfect teamwork is the combination of AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive and AMG SPEEDSHIFT 9-speed transmission. DYNAMIC SELECT allows the driving modes to be selected as appropriate. And the AMG high-performance braking system is the perfect counterpart to the drive system.

Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupé

Captivating from every angle, the GLE Coupé increases the impressiveness of the GLE’s performance and style with an even more attractive design. The dynamic presence of a GLE Coupé is particularly true of the AMG model: with a sharpened all round coupé design, an independent front apron with AMG-specific radiator grille and wheels measuring up to 22 inches. Another AMG-specific feature is the logo projector, which projects the AMG emblem onto the floor when the front doors are opened. Offering the same engine variants as the GLE, the coupé takes it up a notch with the sleek styling.

Mercedes-AMG GLS

Coming soon is the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC+. Taking the luxury of the S-Class and combining it with the performance and design of an AMG, the GLS is next level. The AMG coat of arms on the engine hood and the AMG-specific radiator trim make illustrate the power that lies beneath the bonnet. The updated headlamp and rear light signatures also make a sporty statement. A highlight is the ambient lighting with animated projection of the AMG logo. The Widescreen Cockpit with AMG design and the standard head-up display allow you to enjoy the best possible driving experience on every trip: clearly, quickly and efficiently.

Mercedes-AMG G 63

Instantly recognisable, undeniably iconic, and historically classic, the G 63 needs little introduction. Mercedes-AMG G 63 combines thrilling performance with exquisite design.
